Who are we?
We know that what you want more than anything right now is for your kids to be happy and confident.
Their stress and anxiety affects your whole family. We know you want to have a day without stress or tears. We strive to help children and their families reach their highest potential through individualized, highly effective, and fun therapy techniques.
At Foodology Feeding therapy, we have a different approach!
We want to make therapy functional and that is our goal, but we approach it through play as much as possible. We have a lot of training and tools that give us the opportunity to turn therapy into FUN!
Our dedicated and caring staff of speech pathologists work very closely with a larger team such as occupational therapists and dieticians so your care is continuous and fluid.
We have specialized training that never stops!
We are always expanding our knowledge base and use specialized treatment tools including:
Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy (OMT)
OMT is typically provided by speech-language pathologists (SLPs) or myofunctional therapists. Treatment typically involves a series of exercises that help to strengthen and coordinate the muscles of the face and mouth.
Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS)
Prompts for restructuring oral muscular phonetic targets (PROMPT)
Is a speech therapy technique that helps people improve their speech sounds. It uses a unique approach:
- Touch instead of Talk: Instead of visual cues, therapists use gentle touches on the face and mouth to guide the muscles into the correct positions for sounds.
- Targets Specific Sounds: They focus on individual sounds a person has trouble with, retraining the muscles to make them correctly.
- More Than Just Physical: PROMPT recognizes that speech is more than just muscles. It considers other factors like language skills and social aspects to improve overall communication.
Supporting Oral Feeding in Fragile Infants (SOFFI)
Here are the key aspects of SOFFI:
- Focus on Communication: SOFFI emphasizes understanding an infant’s cues, both behavioral and physiological, to guide feeding decisions. This creates a more interactive feeding experience.
- Building Skills: The program aims to support the development of an infant’s natural oral motor skills for feeding, like sucking, swallowing, and coordinating breathing with sucking.
- Long-Term Goal: SOFFI goes beyond immediate feeding needs. It aims to establish positive feeding patterns that will benefit the infant as they grow.
Oral Placement Therapy (OPT)
OPT provides an alternative approach for those who struggle with traditional speech therapy methods. By incorporating touch, it can enhance learning and improve both speech clarity and feeding skills.
OPT can also be helpful for improving chewing and swallowing abilities in individuals with feeding difficulties.
DIRFloortime
While DIRFloortime is commonly used with children with ASD, it can be beneficial for a wider range of individuals, including those with:
- Developmental delays
- Learning disabilities
- Social-emotional challenges
Augmentative and alternative communication (AAC)
Augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) refers to a wide range of communication methods and tools that can be used to supplement or replace speech for individuals with difficulties speaking. It encompasses various strategies and aids to help people effectively express themselves and participate in conversations.
TummyTime!
Tummy time refers to placing your baby on their stomach while they are awake and supervised. It’s an important practice for several reasons:
- Strengthens muscles.
- Prevents flat head.
- Improves motor skills.
- Promotes development.

Our Founder
Christine Miroddi Yoder is a pediatric feeding expert, mindset coach, and owner of Foodology Feeding. She is a thought leader in this field and has developed the concept of Mealtime Mindset, which is a holistic, positive mindset approach to feeding. has a Master’s in Speech Pathology & has taken over 30 courses in feeding that span from infants with bottle aversions, picky eaters, sensory processing difficulties, nutrition, oral motor, myofunctional therapy, sleep disordered breathing, mindset, and more.
As a professional, but also as a parent of a child with early feeding challenges, Christine understands how difficult mealtime can be at home. Her mission is to have picky eating be a thing of the past and for children to thrive, learn, and grow by teaching parents to stop relying on professionals and taking control over mealtimes at home. Christine’s motto is that we can only help our children learn and grow when we learn and grow as parents, which is the foundation of her, company, her books, and her courses.
Besides Christine being one of the most knowledgeable people in her field she is one of the most positive and inspirational people I’ve ever met. Her professionalism and passion for what she does paired with her warm personality and beautiful outlook on life is the reason you wont regret choosing her to guide you on your journey. We’re all blessed to have such a shining light in our lives that is Christine.
Maria Talbot
I am 32 years old and have been an extremely picky eater my whole life. My parents tried so many things to get me to eat better – a therapist, reward system and punishment. Nothing worked. I have tried on my own for years and was only able to add on a few foods. Then I looked online for help and found Cove Therapy! Christine Miroddi was able to tell me why I am so picky (tongue tied) and help me try all different foods. She took the steps with me slowly so to not stress me and it worked!! I even tried salmon and liked it and I always said I’ll never try fish. She is a life saver!
Rachel Nunez
We started feeding therapy with Christine since my child was about 5 months. Her evaluation was comprehensive and through. Each appointment she was fully focused on my child and always listens to what I’m saying as a parent. I never felt like I wasn’t being heard. She is always available to help in between appointments. She has been with our family through pre and post tongue tie release as well as feeding therapy. I have learned so much from her. She has a great deal of knowledge and is always willing to help. I moved from NY and she was able to help us virtually. She would always send us handouts with pictures of what exercises we should be doing with our child and links to toys/tools needed for my child to make a stressful experience a little better. From tummy time, to oral play, to feeding therapy, suck/swallow exercises and more – Her advice is valuable and comes from experience. Christine truly genuinely cares about her clients, understands a parent’s struggle and we’re so grateful for all that she has done and continues to do for our family.

Krystle
Krystle is extremely passionate about helping parents and kids with feeding issues. Her intuitive and calm nature helps not only put kids at ease, but also parents. She loves seeing her clients make progress and graduate from feeding therapy quickly.
Before feeding therapy, my son was over one years old and still on purées. With Krystal’s help, my son is now THRIVING and eating anything and everything! It’s amazing. At his 2 year doctor appointment even the pediatrician was impressed with how far he has come with eating. Krystal is highly knowledgeable and explains everything she does. Without her help I don’t know where my son would be. Thank you, thank you, thank you! ❤️

Haley
Haley is absolutely loves working with families to ensure they are getting their goals and outcomes achieved. She has a special love for feeding, but also enjoys her langauge kids as well! She loves being helpful and is always working hard to expand her skillset.
My son started services with Hayley in June and it has been so wonderful working her! We have seen great improvement in his speech and recognition. He could not be more happy to see her when she walks in! He loves all the toys she brings and its amazing to see him so engaged. I am so grateful that we have Hayley working so closely with our son, she has made such an incredible impact on his life in such a short amount of time. I can’t recommend Hayley and Foodology Feeding enough, you will not be disappointed!
Melissa Berozi
We’ve been working with Foodology doing at home feeding therapy for our Autistic son with severe food aversion for about 7 months or so now, and we could not be more happy about the incredible progress he’s made so far! With our first therapist, he started off super anxious and running away from anything edible, and within a short time got comfortable touching and playing games with various food items. I appreciated the always positive, playful and most of all respectful approach. For the last several months we’ve been working with Haley, who has been so wonderful, always prioritizing rapport and connection before introducing any new challenges, and allowing my son to accept new steps at his own pace. Currently he’s gone from not wanting to touch food at all to readily placing food items in his mouth and biting them on request. I give my son a ton of credit for being so brave but I also don’t think he’d feel so comfortable about any of it if it weren’t for the super supportive, respectful and attuned approach by our wonderful therapist. He’s very musical so Haley even took the time to come up with multiple songs to help him understand and accept the next steps. We are so grateful for Cove Foodology and its amazing therapists, who have helped our son overcome severe aversion that we felt helpless about for years. Thank you so much!!!
Parisa Rahman
Our speech therapist, Haylee, is wonderful. She is knowledgeable, prompt, attentive, stays the entire session, and really makes sure she is connecting. She even thinks about her students when she’s off the clock; she saw a toy we were looking for when she was out shopping and sent us a text and offered to pick it up for us. This above and beyond and considerate nature will ensure that we remain friends long after our speech therapy has ended. Highly recommend!

We are Passionate about Making a Difference!
At Foodology Feeding Therapy, we believe that you shouldn’t have to struggle everyday, and not knowing how your child will be in the future is enough to keep you awake for hours each night. We understand that your kids are not acting this way to be defiant or because they can’t focus. It’s because there are underlying skill deficits and they are doing the best that they can with the skills they have. That’s why we work with you and your family to develop a plan that will get you to where you want to be.
For that to happen though, something needs to change. You need to know where to begin, what the underlying deficits are, and how hard to push in order to get to that place. The problem is you don’t have the expertise on your own to make that happen, which makes you think, “will they ever just be like every other kid?” It feels hopeless and you are just barely able to keep your head above water.
We have extensive training that allows us to identify and correct the underlying skill deficits that are resulting in the challenges you see every day. Most therapists do not get into these deep levels of training and therefore only are looking at the surface issues.
Here’s how it works:
- You book an appointment with our highly skilled and caring therapists and we do an in-depth analysis to determine the root cause of the issues.
- We develop a plan that lays out how to get from where you are right now to where you want to be.
- Then we reinforce what you learn with us at home throughout the week and slowly we fade out so you are flying on your own.
